My name is Anna Binns and I’ve had a passion for the arts and creativity for as long as I can remember!

 

I began my education in Halifax at Crossley & Porter Grammar School where a natural ability for art and painting led me down to London where I studied at the world-renowned, St Martins School of Art.

With a BA in fine art, studying sculpture and painting I went on to teach art & design at secondary & undergraduate levels.

 

When family life took hold and my two lovely girls were older, I decided to re-train in the field of mental health, a career that I loved. It was only a few years ago, following retirement, that I could feel myself being drawn back to my first love, art.
For a short time, I made and sold intricate and unique silver jewellery but I knew that this wasn’t where my heart was. My real love was yet to appear...
